caution when buying canon batteries July 24, 2010

this is a genuine Canon battery and works great. i first purchased what i thought were genuine Canon batteries from a couple of ebay sites, only to find out that they were counterfeit. when buying Canon batteries make sure it has the Canon hologram on the package, cause if it doesn't it's NOT genuine! check Canon's website for further information.

Bought this particular brand for my Canon S90 as a back-up & for peace of mind.
Battery works fine just like the original battery that came with the camera.
Nothing really to complain about other than its high price. As they always say "you get what you pay for"... Have had it for 2 months now..seem to work just fine (~180-210 shots/charge).

The Canon battery arrived without a package so I called AV26INC to find out if it's a brand new one. Even though I didn't leave a message, the company called me back and confirmed that it's new. When we use it, it's a really great battery.
