Great alternative to AC adaptor August 27, 2010

For only $30 it's cheaper than 1/3 the cost of an ac adaptor (for the Nikon D5000). The only way for my D5000 to work with AC is with a $30 dummy battery and a $70 AC adaptor. I'm surprised that the battery is so inexpensive in comparison to the AC adaptor. And so I am very happy with this purchase.

I wanted an extra battery for my Nikon 5000. This battery was made by Nikon for my camera, so fits the camera and the charger perfectly. The Battery came fully charged and packaged well. It even arrived before it's deadline. I had an extra battery for my old Nikon D50 and it became an essential part of my nikon equipment, so purchasing an extra battery for my Nikon 5000 was a must. Don't buy an off brand name, make sure to get the real thing. I am very happy with this item, now I don't have to worry about running out of battery life when I am in places where recharging the battery is nearly impossible. Such as camping.
