Awesome Investment!! March 15, 2010 J. Simonis (Madison, WI USA) This waterproof case worked like a charm! My husband and I used it on our Caribbean cruise. We originally purchased it because we were going snorkeling and swimming with the stingrays, so we wanted to get pictures of that. Well, we got some rainy weather on a couple of the other days we were on our cruise, so we were able to use our camera then as well! I can see us getting a lot more use out of this case (storm pictures, waterpark pictures, etc.). It is well worth the extra cost, and the ease of use is just fantastic!
Inexpensive, and it works, except for the zoom feature March 3, 2010 Steve Thompson (Alexandria, VA) This product does what it's supposed to do. It protects your Canon point-and-shoot in the wet and underwater. Just don't expect to get professional-looking photos underwater unless you're willing to invest in an external flash system. But for underwater snapshots, it's an inexpensive and good-quality answer.
Only one problem: I've never been able to get the zoom to work. The knob doesn't mate well with the zoom ring on the camera. However, underwater, you'll want to have it zoomed all the way to wide-angle, anyway.
By the way, it also works for earlier Canon point-and-shoots with the same basic shape and layout, although it won't allow you to work the buttons on the back.
Great WaterProof Case for my Camera April 1, 2009 R. Griffin (Ozark) Great product. Took it to Mexico on a Cozumel Dive. 80 ft and 40 ft. Took great pictures and the most important thing the case did not FLOOD
:-)
Simply fantastik! February 12, 2009 L. Villeneuve All snorkeling lovers will enjoy this underwater camera case. You just slip your camera inside, close and you are ready to take pictures of everything you see. Access to all your camera functions, easy to use and to clean. I love it!
everything I expected June 9, 2008 J. Tatham (Western NC) This case was everything I expected it to be. The case is very good quality, and it seems to take excellent pictures. I've only took some pics w/ it at 30ft at a local "green water" lake, and the pictures turned out great. The only flaw with this case is the way the weights to keep the case from floating attaches. It's too easy for the weights to turn and eventually loosen the screw. I lost my set of weights on my very first dive.
