4 out of 5 stars Works great! A bit too big for the SD980   January 7, 2010
Paul Chung Min Ha (Diamond Bar, CA United States)
I used this with the Canon SD980 and it worked really well! You can see my pictures here on facebook if you search for me.

I even took videos underwater. My surfing instructor told me I was nuts to bring a camera with me but I really wanted to take one! You can see it on youtube if you search "beginner surfing waikiki mrpaul1112".

I picked the WP-410 because the Dicapac website said that it fits the Canon SD960 and I know the SD980 is the same exact size. Well it works, but the case is clearly too large for the slim camera. If I weren't a lazy person, I would try cutting and putting some sponge material inside the case on either side of the camera so that it wouldn't slide.

I would give this product 5 stars if the user manual and the Dicapac website weren't so horrible! You can tell it's a Korean website, and me being a Korean-American felt very ashamed for them.

For the price, this was a great purchase!

4 out of 5 stars Snorkeled in Cancun-Totally worth it for this price   December 21, 2009
RS (NJ, USA)
This item does everything that you expect. Most importantly it keeps the camera dry underwater and takes reasonably good snaps. The snorkeling photos came out pretty good. It takes a little effort to zoom and click, but cant complain at this price.

5 out of 5 stars Dry Camera and Lightweight to Pack   December 10, 2009
T. Bilcze (Akron, OH USA)
I bought this case to use on a cruise. I took it on a cave tubing and beach excursion. The camera stayed dry and the pictures turned out good. The picture quality was mostly very good. There are a few where water drops were on the case. The water generally just rolled off. While floating in the cave, I tried to take a picture. The flash bounced back on the clear case and those picturesdid not turn out. I worked great in the surf. I would recmmend this for the beach.

5 out of 5 stars Cheaper alternative to purchasing waterproof camera   November 10, 2009
Wisegy
This is a great product and a great alternative to spending $200 plus on a water proof camera case. I purchased this prior to my trip to the Caribbean. I was able to take some great underwater pictures in the pool and while boating, without the worry of damaging my Canon SD800. The only drawback was the dark areas that appeared around the edges of the pictures because the lens did not fit the lens compartment of the case perfectly. This was easily fixed by cropping the pictures. This case is made if durable plastic with Velcro and zip lock seals. I highly recommend this case....don't hit the beach or the waterslide without it.
