No problems at all May 23, 2010 Richard C. Pruitt (Chesapeake, VA) Not much to say, except it just works. Fired off some high speed series, no problems. I have this and an 8GB secondary in a Nikon D3s.
Ultra high speed! I also use a high speed card reader! April 21, 2010 Joseph A. Nowak (Northern California) I ordered this card when I ordered my Nikon D700 with battery grip. Works great at 8fps on my camera when I took photos at a truck race. Very fast upload to my coputer through my high speed card reader too. Highly recommended.
Excellent! March 27, 2010 J. Roberts (San Anselmo, CA) I use 2 of these cards with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. They are fast enough, large enough, and reliable.
Used on Canon 7D March 25, 2010 M. Martinez (TX USA) Great! Being that I recently purchased a Canon 7D and my RAW file sizes jumped from what used to be about 10MB on my XTi to about 25MB on my 7D, I needed a large capacity CF card to store more images in between image downloads to my computer. Used it at a small wedding recently and it was able to hold roughly 400 of my RAW images I took that evening. No problems or lag.
Works great where others have Failed February 28, 2010 Robert C. Mcauley (Burlington, ON Canada) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a CF card for my new Nikon D300S, so ran out and bought the cheapest CF card I could find - a Core Micro 16GB. I was getting card read/write errors after firing off a few shots.
I headed to the forums, and discovered a software upgrade for the camera that was supposed to fix some card errors, but not my specific error message. The errors persisted even after the upgrade.
Others on the forum recommended these newer faster cards, so I spent the $$ and ordered this one.
The camera has worked perfectly ever since.
I suspect it has to do with the speed of the card, but the Lexar Professional brand was mentioned frequently as never giving a problem with the Nikons.
I haven't tried the UDMA specific readers, because I don't really need the high speed transfer. My older 12-in-1 reader works just fine.
