Simple & reliable August 8, 2008 J. Dempsey (Phoenix, AZ) I purchased this item to read micro disks. It does great as long as you make sure you've got the adapter (the micro disk plugs into a regular size card).
I've also used it to read the regular size Secure Digital cards from my camera. Just plug in and go - it's the best!
Works fine, doesn't need software July 12, 2008 Cecilia Gunning (Oakland, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product works just fine on my mac. I use it mostly to transfer photos from the xd card in my camera. There's a piece of tape on the reader that says something like STOP! Do not use this product without installing the software! That's BS. You don't need the software. It works just like any other usb card reader where you just plug it in and your computer knows it's there. I didn't use the software because of past experiences where software like that will make itself the default reader for your photos and run random background programs that slow down your system. Other than that, this product is pretty fast and so far it works well. I'm not sure what the button is for, but when I plug the reader in iphoto starts automatically and I can just import all my photos by clicking my mouse. That's easy enough for me.
Great little device July 9, 2008 Butch (Illinois) This little does what is advertised without any problems. I load music for my Sansa player and unload images to my PC. No complaints.
