Reader deal June 28, 2010 Garry McGonigle (Ottawa, KS USA) I had some doubt that this reader was going to work as well as it had when I opened a 4GB card and those doubts were immediately dispelled. Works in Vista 32 and 64 without a hitch and is immediately recognized. The 32 GB card has been put aside for vacation but I am very pleased.
Works May 16, 2010 LES (Seattle, WA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
So far the memory card works great. No problems. Been using it for over a month now. I do not agree with that the memory card reader is a flimsy junk. It is plastic, so don't expect it last if you roll over with your car. It is not worse than a USB flash drive which is made of plastic (since most of them are).
The card reader has a little blue light at the top and is blinking when data is being read. I find the reader great help, so I don't have to keep connect the cable to my camera, just pop the card out and read away. It supports different cards which is also great, but I only use it with SDHC cards.
You can pull out the little doors/protectors or whatever else you might wanna call it, both at the front and on the back, which will protect the USB connector and the card as well. This way you can easily leave a card in there while transporting it and it will be protected.
Had problem with camera memory card March 29, 2010 Sandra D. Beeman (Central Pennsylvania) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was having a problem from time to time with my computers recognizing the camera memory card after multiple photo shoots. This card reader
which I used with a short USB card solved that problem.
No Issues with Canon FS200 March 26, 2010 G in H-Town (Houston, TX) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use this card and reader for a Canon FS200 Camcorder. No issues so far. Plenty of space and the reader comes with a short adapter cord in case your usb port is obstructed for some reason.
