Ever took a picture where you found that the background was too distracting? Put the focus where you want it with FocalPoint. The use of selective focus has been part of photography since the very first lenses were invented. There are many techniques used to control either the plane of focus or removing sharpness from edges. The most common way to do this is by controlling depth of field in the camera by using a large aperture lens producing a narrow depth of field. This Photoshop plug-in lets you create such an effect without such hardware.
Tilt the sweet spot aperture in 3D, simulating the tilt effect of a view camera or tilt-shift lens. Increase or decrease the amount & feather of blur Vary the blur style - a standard defocused look or add a little motion to simulate the look of certain lenses FocalPoint always returns its results to a new layer in Photoshop, protecting your original image for further editing. Like the software, HOwever, don't use it as much as I expected. It is hard to see the bug that you adjust in the screen and so you are somewhat guessing your results in the program until it goes back to the CS3 screen.

I found this software to be just what I was looking for to enhance photos. It's very easy to use and provides a soft look to backgrounds with multiple adjustments for precise control of the focal area, depth of softness, degree of blending. Add a vignette for an additional adjustment.
